Facebook Dislike Button

Oh where oh where has my Facebook dislike button gone? Oh where oh where can it be?

So if you’re on Facebook you probably wanted to hit dislike about 8 million times. But since Facebook doesn’t offer the option you can’t. Well you couldn’t until now. With the help of some pretty crafty 3rd part developers the dislike button has now hit Facebook.

The initial reason why Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg didn’t want the dislike feature added was that he felt it promoted negativity. Now we already have things like SOPA and ACTA trying to keep us quiet. Why does Facebook feel they need to follow in their footsteps? The Government wants to blacklist websites and Facebook wants to blacklist dislikes. ;)

If your tired of watching someone whine all day long like a cry baby why can’t you dislike their 450th wall post about how stressful their day was? Everyone has stress for ,crying out loud.

The reason is simple peace, love, and Facebook. They want that hippie mentality of, “If you can’t say something nice then don’t say anything at all.”

Whatever, a dislike button on Facebook is long overdue. The fact of the matter is if people can’t take dislikes then tough. The world isn’t all Sunshine and roses out there. Normally you get your teeth kicked in by life at least once a week.

So a dislike button for Facebook should be put on the next election ballot just so we can now vote on if we want a dislike button or not. After all isn’t Facebook just about as important as the the government now? We already know that Facebook receives more visitors a day then even the mightiest of search engines, and we all know who that is.

I bet not a day goes by that I don’t see someone ask, “Does Facebook have a dislike button?” So obviously people want it. Maybe turn it into an app that you can enable or disable for your account. Then the cry babies I mentioned before can disable the ability for people to dislike stuff on their accounts. Yet companies could use it on their fan pages to actually do some cool market research.

Like I mentioned earlier though. If there is a will there is a way. So some guys teamed up made a third part application to give you the dislike ability. The Facebook dislike button can actually be downloaded here now.

Now it isn’t an absolute home run in the fact that it isn’t actually part of Facebook. Yet it can still give you the ability to finally state your true feelings. Sometimes the truth hurts. Sometimes you just have to take the good with the bad and learn how life really works. Even if Facebook isn’t real life… or is it?
